Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to quote for and carry out your job:

• Quote form details: your name, email address, telephone number, and the project details, materials, quantities and messages you enter.
• Contact information: details you give us by email, telephone or WhatsApp when discussing a quotation or order.
• Uploaded files: CAD/DXF drawings and any other files you attach to a quote request. These may contain your own or a third party’s design work.
• Order and payment records: quotations, invoices and proof of payment. We do not collect card details through this website.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect special personal information as defined in POPIA.

We use your information to:

• prepare, send and follow up on quotations;
• review your files, cut, fabricate and arrange collection or delivery of your order;
• issue invoices, receive payments and keep the financial and tax records the law requires;
• respond to your queries; and
• keep the website secure and working properly.

We will not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell it. We do not currently send marketing communications.

Quote requests and enquiries are received by email (Zoho Mail). Customer files, drawings and job records are stored on Google Drive. Some of this storage (Google Drive, and email hosted with Zoho) may involve servers located outside South Africa; these providers are used under their own security and data protection practices.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access, such as access-controlled accounts and secure hosting. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary with service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose.

• website hosting and delivery (Cloudflare);
• email (Zoho Mail), cloud storage (Google Drive) and accounting/invoicing (Zoho Books);
• banks and payment processors, for payments;
• our in-house delivery service, where you request delivery; and
• professional advisers, authorities or courts where the law requires.

This website loads third-party resources (such as the Tailwind CSS library from a content delivery network), which may receive your IP address when your browser fetches them.

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires:

• quotations that do not proceed: 12 months;
• customer files and drawings for completed jobs: 24 months, to support repeat orders and quality queries;
• invoices and financial records: 5 years, in line with tax and accounting requirements.

When information is no longer needed we will delete or de-identify it.

Subject to the exceptions in POPIA, you have the right to:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it;
• ask us to correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete information we are no longer entitled to keep;
• object to the processing of your information, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• opt out of any direct marketing; and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe your information has been mishandled. Current contact details are published at inforegulator.org.za.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one small item in your browser’s local storage (arcforge_theme) to remember whether you prefer the light or dark theme. It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its “Last updated” date. Our Terms & Conditions of Trade continue to apply to all quotations and orders.
